Proudly Australian Made!

At Happy Wombat we believe in a better tomorrow and that we should take responsibility of our actions, making the world a better place to live in. Our natural mattresses are made with sustainable fabrics and materials.
The Kindest Choice
We love Wombats! They represent our Australian spirit. We love all living beings on the planet and want to make sure our sleep doesn’t interfere with their happiness. Happy Wombat wants to be a part of that ecological revolution.

Happy Wombat supports planet sustainability. For every mattress sold, 5% of our profit goes back into supporting the efforts of not-for-profit organisations that are striving toward sustainable living. Join us to be part of the green movement!
How can we all help?
The combination of low precipitation and record high temperatures during Australia’s most recent (2019–20) summer season, resulted in dramatic wildfires across the country that drew global attention. It is estimated that more than 1 billion animals were killed in the fires. For example, some 8,000 koalas may have perished in last year’s bushfires and the loss of eucalyptus trees and water supply will continue to affect them as recovery slowly starts to take place. About 30% of their key habitat has been destroyed. *Credits to Onetreeplanted

The natural properties of the natural bamboo fabric make it anti-microbial and breathable keeping the sleep surface fresh and healthy.
Sustainability Matters
We are committed to sustainable practices. Where possible, we use renewable and/or recycled materials in every piece that we make. We cannot thrive if our planet is not healthy. Happy Wombat's products help protect endangered species.

Happy Wombat is the eco-friendly brand of mattresses. They are made from natural materials that take care of our environment and use recycled cardboard for minimalistic packaging.
PROTECT WILDLIFE
Restoring forests also means restoring habitat critical to conserving Australia's unique wildlife. Healthy forest ecosystems support higher biodiversity and are more resilient to the stressors of climate change
RESTORE NATIVE FORESTS
Reforestation efforts assist native vegetation in growing back, while also improving soil quality, preventing erosion, and controlling invasive species - which can be particularly aggressive after forest fires without intervention
REDUCE THE IMPACT OF BUSHFIRES
Help us prevent bushfires in Australia from spreading catastrophically. Young, healthy forests can help suppress future wildfires and reduce the impact of smoke on public health and native ecosystems..
Happy Wombat Is Committed To Plant Over 5,000 Trees in Australia By 2024
Our partners choose native trees that will bring the greatest overall benefit to the ecosystem and region. This includes various types of native trees and companion plants. Depending on the specific needs of each section of habitat being restored, native trees may include Acacia, Banksia, Eucalyptus, Melaleuca, and many other native species.
Overview
Australia's forests range from ancient Gondwana rainforest and tropical mangroves to extensive bush lands made up of native acacia, melaleuca, and eucalyptus trees.
Impact
By planting trees in Australia, you're creating habitat corridors for koalas in New South Wales and Victoria, enhancing biodiversity in Western Australia, and promoting sustainable and regenerative agriculture practices with landowners. Our bushfire recovery efforts are focused on re-establishing habitat and supporting fire-impacted communities to grow and plant millions of trees. As tree planting costs are high in Australia, your dollar will often go to the tree itself, and we collaborate with awesome partners to ensure the trees are planted and maintained the right way. We also support direct seeding projects in areas where this is ecologically appropriate, which allows for cost-effective restoration at scale. *Credits to Onetreeplanted
